Sunday XVII (and the forgotten Sunday XVI)

Sorry, folks.  Forgot all about posting last week's music here last week.  So, I'll post it at the end of this post for the sake of anyone who "missed me" last week (missed my posting, that is) and liked getting the particulars. ;)

One quick reminder when reading these lists:
If there are quotation marks containing the contents in parentheses, that's the "tune name".  If there are no quotation marks within the parentheses, it's the composer(s).

MUSIC FOR HOLY MASS

ORDINARY OF THE MASS:
Gloria: if sung, Holy Angels Mass (BMP) (PDF); otherwise said.
Sanctus through Agnus Dei: A Community Mass (Richard Proulx)

ALLELUIA: Robert Twynham

THIS WEEKEND: Sunday XVII of the Year
Saturday, VII-25, and Sunday, VII-26

Entrance hymn: Christ for the world, we sing ("Italian Hymn") (Listen)
Psalm 119: Lord, I love your commands (Robert Batastini/Joseph Gelineau, SJ)
Offertory hymn: God, my King, thy might confessing ("Stuttgart") (Listen)
During Communion: Be thou my vision (Jean-Hubert Desrocquettes)
After Communion, hymn: O God, unseen yet ever near ("St. Flavian") (Listen)
Recessional hymn: O praise ye the Lord ("Laudate Dominum") (Listen)

LAST WEEKEND: Sunday XVI of the Year
(the forgotten list)
Saturday, VII-18, and Sunday, VII-19

Entrance hymn: Behold, a sower! from afar ("Weymouth")
Psalm 86: Lord, you are good and forgiving (BMP)
Offertory hymn: Come, ye thankful people, come ("St. George's Windsor")
During Communion: Ps. 51, Accept a sacrifice of justice, oblations and burnt offerings, placed upon your altar, O Lord (BMP, based in part on Parce Domine, Mode I)
After Communion, hymn: O Salutaris Hostia (Anthony Werner)
Recessional hymn: Soon may the last glad song arise ("Truro")
- Odd note about the actual credit on this last hymn: The text is attributed to a lady known only as "Mrs. Vokes", written in 1816.  I researched the daylights out of this, and came up empty.
