SUNDAY XII

This weekend is (as Warren Harding's presidential campaign platform said) a "return to normalcy".  And this normalcy will happen (as Father Bucci will sometimes say) "for a time".  We are now in the numbered Sundays of Ordered Time, often referred to as the "green season", where the priest "goes green" (liturgically, and not necessarily ecologically or economically).

MUSIC FOR HOLY MASS

Sung Ordinary of the Mass and Alleluia is the same as the previous three weeks.
Numbers given are in the Maroon Hymnal ("The Hymnal").  Please note that the entrance hymn this weekend is new.  I'll be teaching it before Mass this weekend.

Entrance hymn: Give praise and glory unto God, #287 (Listen)
- Our tempo will be a more moderate tempo than what you'll hear in the listen link.
Psalm 107: Give thanks to the Lord; his love is everlasting, music by Richard Rice
Offertory hymn: O worship the King, #288
Communion anthem: In heav'nly love abiding, #431
- The singers will be singing this as an anthem.  However, the number is given if you wish to join in.
Meditation hymn: I sought the Lord, #405
Recessional hymn: Ye holy angels bright, #600
- Same tune as Rejoice! the Lord is King.

Peace,
