Christ the King, Thanksgiving Day, and Enhanced Worship Guides

Some really cool news!  Starting with this weekend, the worship guides that have been inserted in the bulletin each Sunday and at the entrances on other days have now been enhanced!

In addition to the readings and the text of the hymns and Psalms for Holy Mass, we have now included the music.  The sheets are 11"x17", same as the bulletin, and they fold, just like the bulletin.  Thus we now have a four-page worship booklet of sorts with the readings, hymns, Psalms, and Mass Ordinary, as well as the music thereof.

Is it legal?  It sure is.  We have an annual reprint license from OneLicense.net which covers the works of many publishers.  While the bulk of the hymns are public domain, some are not.  Also, a good chunk of the Mass Ordinary (especially those in English), as well as about half the Psalm settings, are under copyright as well by publishers covered in the annual license.

One should also note that some of the Psalm settings, though not public domain, are free for parish use (including the ones I composed).  The readings for Mass are also copyrighted (by the International Committee on English in the Liturgy, or "ICEL"), but are free for parish use.

That said, here are the music lists for this weekend (Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, or for short, "Christ the King") and Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 26, 9 AM in the Church).
